							Obituary 
							Phyllis J. Turley, 84, of Lincoln 
							passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at St. 
							Clara's Rehab and Senior Care Center. 
							 
							A Celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, 
							February 13, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at 
							the Peasley Funeral Home. 
							 
							Burial will be at a later date at New Union Cemetery 
							in Lincoln. 
							 
							Phyllis Jean Freeman was born on February 15, 1935 
							in Lincoln the daughter of James Calvin and Ruby 
							Simpson Freeman. 
							 
							She was the matriarch of her family and is survived 
							by her children: Charles Eugene Turley, James Ora 
							Turley, Mary Annette Turley, Robert Paul (Laura 
							April ) Turley, Brian Keith (Audra) Turley. her 
							grandchildren: Michael Turley, Timothy Turley, 
							Karissa Trevino, Kylie Nall, Faith Turley, her great 
							grandchildren: Seth Turley, Aleaya Turley, Markus 
							Turley, Cayden Geriets, Landon Geriets.  | 
							
							 
                
                  
							She was preceded in death by her 
							parents, three sisters: Mary Ann Freeman, Dorothy 
							Noble, Mildred Ewins. One brother: James Freeman. 
							 
							Phyllis graduated from the Lincoln Community High 
							School in 1953. She then graduated from Memorial 
							Medical Hospital School of Nursing. 
							 
							She was a member of the First Baptist Church in 
							Lincoln. 
							 
							Phyllis worked as a Registered Nurse at Deaconess 
							and Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospitals. 
							Her hobbies included working puzzles, knitting, 
							crocheting and watching sports. 
							 
							Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
