Obituary
Andrew “Andy” Young, 94, passed away
at Mason Point Nursing Home in Sullivan, on February
5, 2020.
Andy was born on March 8, 1925 in Burbank,
California; son of John and Mary (McCloud) Young.
Andy is survived by his daughters: Marcia (Craig)
Bidwell, Deborah Pettyjohn, and Michelle (David)
Pettijohn-Styons; ten grandchildren and thirteen
great-grandchildren, and two
great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son:
Roger Young, two sisters, and two brothers.
Graveside services for Andy will be held at 2:00
p.m. on Monday, February 10, 2020 at Camp Butler
National Cemetery in Springfield where full military
rites will be accorded by American Legion Post #263,
with Wendell Lowry officiating. |
There will be no visitation.
Memorials may be made in Andy’s name
to Holy Family Catholic Church.
Services are entrusted to Fricke-Calvert-Schrader
Funeral Home in Lincoln.
