Railer wrestlers Austin O'Donoghue and Trevor Bree going to State

Lincoln wrestlers Austin O'Donoghue and Trevor Bree are returning to Champaign this weekend to compete in the IHSA Individual State Wrestling Tournament held at The State Farm Center.

Bree, a senior, last went to State his sophomore year. O'Donoghue, a junior, last went to State his freshman year.

Coach Justin Dietrich said, "I'm just really proud of both Austin and Trevor for getting back to Champaign. I thought overall we wrestled well at Sectionals. We do have two alternates, Jake Benninger and Isaac Decker. They both have a small chance to get to wrestle still in Champaign."

If you are wanting to catch the wrestlers in action one more time in Lincoln, come to Roy S. Anderson Gymnasium next week.

"We're just getting the rest of the team ready for the Team Sectional we will be hosting next Tuesday on February 25th," said Dietrich. That action on the mats will get underway at 6 p.m.
