 This sales tax will be utilized to pay for repairs and restoration
of the Logan County Courthouse. This referendum has a 20 year sunset
(expiration) clause; funds may only be used to restore, repair and
provide continued maintenance to the Logan County Courthouse. This
sales tax will not affect any Logan County property taxes and will
not be charged on groceries or prescriptions. Utilization of a
“sales tax” will allow the county to procure funding from our
visitors and friends who frequent our county, its many historical
sites, parks and recreational areas.

In order to allow the public an opportunity to present questions,
current County Board members will be answering inquiries and
addressing public concerns at a “town hall” meeting in Lincoln on
Sunday, March 1st at 3 p.m.
The meeting will be hosted in the Alumni Room of the Meyers-Evans
Student Center at Lincoln College.
The public is encouraged to attend.
