Lincoln sweeps Charleston in Apollo

The Lincoln Railers returned home Tuesday night to Roy S. Anderson
Gymnasium and swept the Charleston Trojans.
The JV started the evening with a 45-31 victory. Elijah Pollice led
the JV with 10 points.
In the Varsity game, the Railers stormed out to a 21-6 first quarter
lead.
Highlighting the first quarter action was Landon Hullinger with a
baseline dunk. Kaden Froebe tossed in nine quick points in the first
quarter and Kameron Whiteman connected for a couple threes to set
the tone early.
Lincoln led 40-19 at the half as Whiteman and Froebe continued
draining threes.
The Railers poured it on in the third quarter and led 52-27. A
running clock in the fourth quarter allowed Lincoln to cruise to the
60-33 Apollo Conference win.
Kaden Froebe led Lincoln with 19 points.
The Railers improve to 13-1 overall on the season. Lincoln sits atop
the Apollo Conference with a 5-0 record.
