Logan County Board of Realtors reports fourth quarter

The fourth quarter of 2019 saw the same number home sold compared to the
fourth quarter of 2018.
REALTORS in Logan County Board of REALTORS® sold 86 homes in the fourth
quarter of 2019, the same as those sold during that time period in 2018.
The average selling price for homes in the 2019 time period was
$112,441, up significantly from $87,240 in 2018. Median prices were up
as well, $96,250 compared to $78,500.
The length of time that the average home was on the market was a shorter
with the average "Days on Market" in 2019, 126 days. This was 24 days
shorter than the same time period in 2018.
The year 2019 saw the total number of homes sold drop compared to 2018.
REALTORS in Logan County Board of REALTORS® sold 328 homes in 2019, 34
fewer than the 362 in 2018.

The average selling price for homes in 2019 was $105,017, up from $98,290 in
2018. Median prices were up as well, $89,000 compared to $86,350.
The average home was on the market a longer period of time with the average
"Days on Market" in 2019 146 days. This was 11 days longer than the same time
period in 2018.
In 2019 17% of the homes sold were under $50,000, 42% between $50,000 and
$100,000, 33% between $100,000 and $200,000, and finally 8% above $200,000.
