The Community Foundation for the Land of Lincoln is currently
accepting applications for the Women's Fund grant.
The Women’s Fund
The Women’s Fund is an endowment fund built by Women for Women
members to increase awareness and address the needs of women and
children in Sangamon and surrounding counties including Cass,
Christian, Logan, Macoupin, Menard, Morgan, and Montgomery.
Up to $52,500 is available, and multiple awards may be granted
during the 2020 grant cycle. Multi-year funding, for up to two
additional years, may be available.
Grants are awarded to programs that address the most pressing issues
facing local women and their families.
Women for Women members pool their resources to fund worthy projects
and achieve greater impact in the community than they might not
otherwise have been able to do individually. Since it was
established in 2007, Women for Women has granted more than $325,000
to programs that support local women and children.

Access to the online grant application and instructions on completing the
proposal can be found on the Community Foundation’s website: www.CFLL.org. Local
non-profit organizations are encouraged to submit a letter of inquiry before the
February 3, 2020 deadline.
Letters of inquiry will be reviewed, and organizations that are selected to
submit a full grant proposal will be notified by early March. The final grant
awards will be presented at the Women for Women grant reception on May 5.
Women for Women was established at the Community Foundation in order to promote
philanthropy among women, create a permanent source for grant-making and to
address the needs of women and children in the community.
