Adelaide Harp, daughter of Michele Harp, was
named Student of the Month for the cosmetology program at the
Lincolnland Technical Education Center. Adelaide is a senior at
Illini Central High School.
Ms. Angelia Nott, instructor, selected Adelaide for
her enthusiasm and wonderful attitude.
|
Ms. Nott says that Adelaide shows up for class ready
to learn, she shows great mastery of the skills presented, and she
is considerate and always willing to help. Adelaide’s positive
attitude and wonderful leadership qualities will help her go far in
life. Her technical skills are impressive and continue to exceed my
expectations. She’s mastered the marcel curling iron, roller sets,
manipulation of blow drier and brush. Her eye for detail is
unmatched.
Adelaide excels in the classroom, follows directions and is always
up for a challenge. She is a great student and pleasure to have in
class.
Adelaide participates in many extracurricular activities such as:
FFA, Interact Club, Scholastic Bowl, Poms, Drama club and Spanish
Club. Adelaide says all of the clubs have been a big part of her
high school career.
