Obituary
Joe W. Smiley, 68, passed away on
Monday, June 29, 2020 at Aperion Care Center in
Bloomington.
Cremation Rites have been accorded. Burial will be
in Polen Cemetery in rural DeWitt.
Joe Wayne Smiley was born in Mattingly, Kentucky on
December 11, 1951 the son of Joel A. and Viola
Hinton Smiley.
He is survived by his daughters: Veronica Smiley,
Michelle Smiley Doage. one brother: Ken Smiley,
Seven grandchildren: Alexis Smiley, Jason Criddell
Jr., Lyric April, Colton Doage, Elijah Doage,
Camilla Doage and CJ Christian.

Joe is preceded in death by his
parents and his wife Mary Jane Smiley.
He was a member of the Waynesville American Legion.
Joe enjoyed playing pool.
Memorials may be made to his family.
