The
funds are intended to support COVID-19 relief efforts in the
Logan County area. The Shelter Foundation allocated $1.5 million
dollars to help with crisis relief in the communities Shelter
serves.
Rachel Oney, manager of the Salvation Army Keest center located
at 307 N. Kickapoo St., Lincoln, stated that the funds are much
needed. The funds will go towards increasing the amount of food
and hygiene goods that are given out to serve even more families
in need throughout Logan County. Bill Dolan will happily make
appointments by phone to assist those in need.
The Shelter Insurance Foundation is sponsored by the Shelter Insurance
Companies, headquartered in Columbia, Missouri. Shelter offers auto, home, life,
farm and business insurance services via a network of local insurance agents in
their operating territory.
