Larry L. Huelskoetter, 69, of Beason passed away in his home surrounded by his family on Thursday, May 14, 2020.

Larry was born on January 26, 1951 in Lincoln, the son of Albert R. and Eileen J. (Dierker) Huelskoetter. Larry married Vicki Mittelsteadt on February 5, 1972 in Lincoln. She lives on at the family farm.

Larry’s legacy is continued on, in his children, Kenzi (Jermaine) Primus of Chicago and Kevin (Bethany) Huelskoetter of Jerseyville; his grandchildren, Tessa, Eilee, Bayler, and Ada; his siblings, Lynn (Chris Urban) Howard of Needham, MA, Karen (Warren) Gast of Chicago and Kenda (Joe) Jones of Beason.

Larry is preceded in death by his parents.

 

He was a lifelong farmer, devoted to his family and community, who was full of faith, hope, love, and laughter. He was a member of the Logan County Farm Bureau, where he served on the board, and a member of Faith Lutheran Church of McLean County.

A Celebration of Larry’s life will be held on a later date, with Pastor Brian Goke officiating.

Memorial donations may be made in Larry’s name to Faith Lutheran Church of McLean County, Atlanta Fire Department, Beason Fire Department, or Logan County Farm Bureau Young Leaders.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Lincoln.
