These
early arrivals to the Black Lives Matter rally in Lincoln
said they came because they saw what has been happening in
our nation, and they care and love people. A large crowd of
mostly area residents filled Postville Park on Thursday
evening. Members of the Democratic Socialist Party from
Bloomington organized and opened the rally clearly stating
upfront that no violence would be allowed, that was not what
they were about, anyone with such plans should leave right
now. The group marched to the Logan County Courthouse where
speakers shared what people can do to make things better.
LDN will bring you the full story in a future edition. |
