Cindy Sue Patterson, 66, of
Lincoln, passed away June 8, 2020 at Abraham Lincoln
Memorial Hospital.
Cremation rites have been accorded by Holland Barry
& Bennett Funeral Home. There will be no services at
this time.
Cindy was born April 7, 1954 in Mesa, AZ., the
daughter of Melvin Patterson and Marian (Houston)
Baker Patterson. She was the kitchen supervisor at
Sodexo for 24 years. She was a member of Jefferson
Street Christian Church. She enjoyed gardening,
fishing, reading, and spending time with her
grandchildren. Cindy had a strong faith. She loved
God and left a wonderful Christian example and
legacy for her family.
Surviving are her sons: Joshua
(Jamie) Goodey and Trevor Goodey; grandchildren:
Paige Goodey, Brianna Goodey, Alora Goodey, Regan
Goodey, and Ethan Goodey; great granddaughter Meira;
sister Terry Patterson and brother Buddy Patterson;
several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends also
survive. |
She was preceded in death by her parents, son Bob Goodey, and
brothers Bobby Baker and Gene Baker.
Memorial donations may be made to Jefferson Street Christian Church,
Lincoln/Logan Food Pantry, or to the Humane Society of Logan County.
