Obituary
Lyle W. Leesman, 77, of Bloomington,
passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2020, at OSF St.
Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington.
Graveside Services for Mr. Leesman will be held on
Wednesday, June 3, 2020, at10:00 a.m. at Greenhill
Cemetery in rural San Jose, Illinois, with Mr.
Maurice Stribling officiating.
Lyle Wilbur Leesman was born in Lincoln on July 4,
1942, the son of Marvin William and Juanita Harriet
(Smith) Leesman.
Lyle is the last member of his immediate family. He
is survived by his sister-in-law: Wilma Leesman,
three nieces and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one
brother: Glenn G. Leesman. |
Lyle graduated from the Atlanta
Community High School in 1960 and later from
Illinois State University. He served in the United
States Army and Illinois National Guard in Delavan.
Lyle was a teacher at Chiddix Junior High in Normal
for many years.
Memorials may be made to the Atlanta Rescue Squad.
Final arrangements are entrusted with Quiram-Peasley
Funeral Home of Atlanta.
