Jeremy W. Bateman, 39, of Lincoln
passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at St. John’s
Hospital in Springfield.
A Celebration of his life will be held at a later
date.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
Jeremy Wayne Bateman was born on January 21, 1981
the son of Kevin Bateman and Marsha Whiteman.
He is survived by his mother and step father: Marsha
(Jeff) Grigg, his father and stepmother: Kevin
(Peggy) Bateman, daughter: Mylah Grapperhaus
Bateman, son Brayden Brown, sister: Elisha (Ryan
McCracken) Bateman, Brother: Brandon Bateman, Step
sisters: Erica (Chris) Cowan, Shelby Grigg, Saleen
Grigg. Grandparents: Lucille Whiteman, Judy (Dick)
Brandon. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews,
aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. |
He was preceded in death by his
grandfathers: Clifton Whiteman, Garland Bateman.
Jeremy worked for P&W Pools. He enjoyed the Chicago
Bears and Cub games, drawing and tattooing. Most of
all he loved his daughter.
He lit up a room, you always knew when he was there.
Memorials may be made to an Educational Fund being
set up at Town and Country Bank for his daughter:
Mylah.
