Obituary
Charles A. Tonks, 59, of Petersburg,
passed away on Friday, June 5, 2020, at Memorial
Medical Center in Springfield.
No services are scheduled at this time. Cremation
Rites have been accorded.
Charles Allan Tonks was born July 24, 1960, the son
of Don Summers, later adopted by Herb and Phoebe
Bell Tonks.
He is survived by two sons: Nathan Allan (Katy
Marie) Tonks and Nicholas Scott Tonks; one sister:
Tammy Tonks; and two grandchildren: Aliza Mae and
Atlas Allan Tonks.

He was preceded in death by his
parents, and one brother: Mark Tonks
Charles graduated from the Havana High School in
1978.
He was employed at Porta High School as a Custodian.
Memorials may be made to his family.
Final arrangements are entrusted with Peasley
Funeral Home of Lincoln.
