TextRick Hamm,
State Farm Insurance Agent in Lincoln, along with his staff wanted
to do something special for the community during these unprecedented
times.

Hamm, having both his mother and his mother in law in
a skilled nursing facility at one time, wanted to do something
special for the senior population of this community.
Hamm’s staff reached out to the Logan County
Senior Issues Task Force to find the greatest need. Janell Woolard,
chair of SITF called a quick meeting among some of the members.
Knowing the biggest changes to life are happening in the skilled
nursing facilities, Woolard, along with SITF co-chair Julie Bobell
called a meeting with representatives of Generations and St. Clara’s
Rehab and Senior Care.
Together, the group decided the greatest need is
strengthening the communication between residents and their loved
ones and the need for more communication technology.
This information was brought back to Rick Hamm’s
staff and with great generosity, Rick Hamm presented Generations and
St. Clara’s Rehab and Senior Care with a brand new I-pad for greater
family connections.
