Obituary
Jake Van Yzendoorn, 92, passed away
at 12:00 p.m. on February 25, 2020 at St. Clara’s
Manor in Lincoln.
Jake was born in Zaandam, Netherlands on June 14,
1927, son of Johanes and Maria (Scholl) Van
Yzendoorn. He was preceded in death by his first
wife: Sarah, his parents, one daughter; Shirley, one
daughter-in-law; Angela, and Eight siblings.
Surviving Jake is his wife: Virginia, his children:
Mike (Tina) Van Yzendoorn, Peggy (Carl) Anderson,
Robert Van Yzendoorn, and Barbara (Bill) Brooks; one
son-in-law, Gabe Salazar; his twin sister Annie;
eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. |
A memorial service for Jake will be
11:00 a.m. Saturday March 7, 2020 at Opens Arms
Christian Fellowship in Lincoln. Visitation will be
one hour prior to the service (10:00 a.m. -11:00
a.m.).
Memorials may be made in Jake’s name to Open Arms
Christian Fellowship.
