To the editor:
It is with great pleasure that we announce our
endorsement of Chris Sprague for Logan County Coroner.
As funeral home owners in Logan County we have worked alongside
Chris on several occasions. As Chief Deputy Coroner Chris has
handled many cases from beginning to end. We have witnessed his
interaction with families, emergency and law enforcement personnel,
as well as funeral home employees. Chris has always shown respect,
empathy, and competency.
As area funeral directors we feel that in order to protect the
choices of the families that we serve, the Coroner should not be a
licensed funeral director/funeral home owner. In order to remain
impartial in guiding families through the difficulty of death there
should not be any conflict of interest in offering them funeral home
choices.

Our current Logan County Coroner Bob Thomas has
remained impartial and fair to all citizens and funeral homes in
Logan County. As Chief Deputy Coroner, Chris Sprague would
transition seamlessly into the role of Coroner. He has extensive
experience and training in several areas related to death
investigations.
We urge you to vote Experience! Vote Impartiality! Vote Chris
Sprague for Logan County Coroner!
