Justin Horchem named February LTEC Student of the Month

 

[March 03, 2020]    Justin Horchem, son of Greg & Sara Horchem, was named February Student of the Month for the Advanced Welding program at the Lincolnland Technical Education Center. Justin is a senior at Lincoln Community High School.

Mr. Jay Akers, instructor, selected Justin for his work ethic & being a responsible young man. Mr. Akers says that Justin has a work ethic that stands out among his peers. He is polite toward adults and students. He does the job that is ask of him and is a dedicated worker. Justin is very interested in learning a trade. He has done very well in all the areas of the welding program. He is out to better his knowledge every day and comes prepared to learn. Justin has good attendance/grades, works well with others, and is courteous. He is a great young man that will do well.  

Justin has participated in LCHS football and baseball for all four years.

Justin’s future goal is to go to a tech school for welding.

Justin received a $50 from the Kiwanis Club of Lincoln who sponsors this award and honored him at a noon luncheon.
