Obituary
Ralph Edwin Hendrickson
Ralph was born May 17th, 1925 in Lincoln to Emil &
Tillie (Johnson) Hendrickson.
He married Martha Nichols on June 3rd, 1950 in
Lincoln. She preceded him in death.
Ralph is survived by his children Julie (Joseph)
Daugherty of Sherman, Steve Hendrickson of Costa
Mesa CA, and Sue (Bruce) McWilliams of Tremont, four
grandchildren, Britne (Brian) Cripe of Decatur,
Shannon (Michael) Davis of Gig Harbor WA, and Nicole
Switzer and Ashley McWilliams both of Tremont. He
has fifteen great-grandchildren, and eleven
great-great- grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and
siblings Esther Katz, Mildred Berryman, and Earl
Hendrickson.

Ralph was retired after having worked
as a farmer, a car salesman for what is now Graue
Chevrolet, and a salesman for Stahl’s Furniture
Store in Mount Pulaski. He enjoyed fishing, playing
cards, and bowling. He bowled two 300 games in
league bowling at Logan Lanes. He enjoyed watching
sports and was an avid Cubs, Bears, Illini, and
Bulls fan. He loved his family and friends and was
adored by his children and grandchildren.
Services for Ralph will be held at 10:00 a.m. on
Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at Zion Lutheran Church in
Lincoln. Visitation will take place from 5:00-7:00
p.m. on Monday, March 2, 2020 at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.
Burial will follow the services at New Union
Cemetery in Lincoln.
Memorial donations can be made to Zion Lutheran
School.
