To the Citizens of Logan County,
I have known Judge Bill Workman for more than 30 years. We met when
he was a probation officer and I worked for the Logan County Public
Defender. I didn’t know in those early days what an accomplished
legal career Bill would have in the years to come.
Bill’s core belief is service. After serving in the United States
Army, Bill earned his college degree, law degree and continued to
serve in the Army Reserves. Later, he worked long hours as an
assistant states attorney in McLean County making the daily commute
while he and his wife were raising their family right here in Logan
County.
In addition to holding the office of Logan County State’s Attorney
from 1996-2000, Judge Workman’s distinguished legal career includes
prosecuting major crimes as First Assistant State’s Attorney in
Woodford and McLean counties and serving as Assistant Corporation
Council for the City of Springfield.

In 2014 Judge Workman was appointed Associate
Judge by his colleagues, the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Judges. We
have been very fortunate to have a judge for the last six years on
the Logan County bench with the balanced comprehensive legal resume
Judge Workman has achieved. Throughout his life Judge Workman has
demonstrated his commitment to service. Please join me in voting for
Judge William G. Workman so he can continue that service as Circuit
Judge.
