Dear Editor:

I am writing in support of Judge William G. Workman for Logan County Resident Circuit Judge. I have known Judge Workman practically all my life. We went to grade school and high school together. Judge Workman is a hard-working, honest man of integrity. He and his wife, Tina who is a public-school teacher, have been married for more than 43 years and have raised a family here in Logan County. A United States Army veteran who served our country honorably, Judge Workman came back to his home county to practice law and build a career in public service.

Judge Workman has six years of experience as a Judge. He was also our past elected State’s Attorney who served the citizens well, prosecuting crimes and managing the State’s Attorney’s office. In addition to his normal judicial duties, he is currently a Veteran’s Court Judge hearing cases in the 11th Judicial Circuit designed to assist military veterans who may have had a problem with the law. Through this new program they receive guidance and legal help with their case.

[to top of second column]

I know how much Judge Workman cares about his community, its citizens and the welfare of children. I have heard him many times affirm how aware he is that his job affects people’s lives. He takes that responsibility very seriously.

For these and many more reasons too numerous to list, I encourage the voters of Logan County to join me in voting for Judge William G. Workman for Logan County Resident Circuit Judge.

Timothy D. Armstrong
