To the editor:
I have known Bethany Rademaker for much of my
life. We officially met through grade school band, cheerleading and
the pompon squad. My current relationship with Bethany is through
serving as a co-Director for the Logan County Fair Queen Pageant.
Bethany brought me on as the Junior Miss Director and we quickly
realized how well we worked together.
Bethany’s personal strengths are leadership, professionalism and
organization. Through her leadership she has successfully ran the
pageant and implemented the growing Junior Miss portion. Her
leadership is one that beams with confidence, earns respect, and
allows for collaboration. Her professional nature and organizational
skills give me the confidence to go into any situation and know that
we would come out on top. She is a strategic thinker and she
genuinely cares about those she works with.
Her role as director is all volunteered time and she drives that
same mentality into her committee. She communicates at every meeting
that we volunteer our time and we dedicate hundreds of hours because
we believe in our community, we believe in our youth, and we believe
that we are making for a better tomorrow.
Our committee does not only serve for the week of the fair but
year-round. We chaperone dozens of Logan County events throughout
the year, we visit other county fairs to show our encouragement, we
help to judge other pageants, we orchestrate mock judging panels to
prepare for the state pageant and furthermore we teach each
contestant about being a respectable woman.

We help them have confidence when in an interview,
poise when speaking to others, self-assurance when walking-into a
room and courage when giving a speech. Bethany’s time missed at home
turns into a lesson to her children about volunteering for the
community, teaching strong work ethic, and even implementing group
effort and bringing the family along to assist when possible.
I can wholeheartedly say that Bethany will continue to advance the
Circuit Clerk’s Office in the continued movement to online
electronic recording and online court records. I know that she will
do as much training as she can, put in the time needed to advance
herself and execute the tasks needed to move the county forward.
With her attention to detail, her organization skills and her
experience in finances I can assure she will plan and budget for the
future and prepare the office for any challenges to come.
I endorse Bethany Rademaker without reservation as she seeks
election to Logan County Circuit Court Clerk.
Sincerely,
Katie Gosda
Logan County Fair Queen Pageant Co-Director
