To the citizens of Logan County:
I’ve been involved in politics and government for more than three
decades. I began my career as a county probation officer at the age
of 22, where I learned the satisfaction and reward of giving back to
my community
My good friend and colleague Bethany Rademaker also began her career
in county government at about the same age. While earning her
Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees she worked full time as a deputy
clerk in the County Clerk and Recorder’s office. As Chairman of the
Republican Party at that time, I frequently worked with County Clerk
Sally Turner and her dedicated staff. Bethany Rademaker’s
professionalism and commitment impressed me.
Subsequently, in my capacity as the President of the American
Council of Engineering Companies of Illinois, our Association was
searching for a young professional with financial, organizational
and customer service experience.

We needed a candidate who embraces change, applies
her education and exceptional work ethic to her career and exceeds
expectations to achieve results. We were fortunate enough to hire
Bethany five years ago and the Association is better for it.
As Bethany’s direct supervisor, I have witnessed
how bright and capable she is. Initially she had little formal
knowledge about the engineering field. Now she runs the continuing
education programs providing expert organizational leadership to
more than 11,000 engineers and staff members statewide. Bethany has
a talent for financial structure and management. I regularly receive
compliments from members on her enthusiasm for her job and her
ability to confidently manage competing priorities.
County government requires exceptional leadership. Bethany Rademaker
is an exceptional leader. I will cast my vote to invest in the
future by electing Bethany Rademaker Circuit Court Clerk.
