To the editor: As social
workers, my colleagues and I work closely with members of the Logan
County justice system and with the judges themselves. We know how
crucial a judge with sound reasoning and experience is to families
in crisis. When families find themselves in court, they are in
crisis, and they need support and guidance.
Personally, I will cast my vote for a judge who has been in Logan
County most of his life because I want him to care about Logan
County like I do. I want someone with experience. I want someone who
is mature in his professional life as well as in his personal life.
I want a judge with beliefs and values that align with mine and with
my friends and neighbors in this community.
I believe Judge William G. Workman is that candidate in the race for
Resident Circuit Judge. Judge Workman attends Lincoln Christian
Church every Sunday. I know this because I sit behind him every
Sunday in service. He is also a lifelong resident of Logan County.
In my professional capacity, I am regularly in Judge Workman's
courtroom.

He makes every participant feel welcome and
comfortable in his courtroom. He always listens carefully to
testimony, thoroughly reads the reports filed by the agencies, and
makes his decisions only after getting all the facts.
I have observed the depth of Judge Workman's
concern and compassion for families, his character, integrity, and
his sound sense of justice. He always does what is best for the
families we serve, no matter how difficult it may be. He is fair and
impartial in his decisions and he has become a cornerstone of the
stability required to keep our families intact when possible, doing
what is best for everyone involved.
We need to ensure this level of stability is maintained. Judge
Workman's vast experience is not just preferable, it is essential.
Please cast your vote on March 17th for the man we need for Logan
County Circuit Judge - Judge Wm. G. Workman.
Sincerely,
Brandy White
