Lanphier will play the winner of the Lincoln/MacArthur
game for the sectional championship on Friday night
Springfield Lanphier led 23-17 at the half over Urbana but a
late surge by the Tigers almost allowed them to steal the game
from the Lions. Lanphier held on for the 46-44 after Urbana
missed a series of shots down the stretch. Kendall Debrick led
the Lions with 15 points. Timothy Price tossed in 14 points for
Lanphier.
