 To the editor:My wife and I
recently began our 40th consecutive year of practicing law together
in Logan County, Illinois.
During that time we have known and worked with various Circuit
Clerks and their Deputy Clerks throughout Central Illinois. In
recent years we enjoyed the privilege of working with Circuit Clerk
Mary Kelley and her fine staff of full-time Deputy Clerks at the
Logan County Circuit Clerk’s Office, including Chief Deputy Kelly
Elias.
We consider Ms. Elias among the finest, most efficient, skilled and
personable Deputy Clerks ever to serve our need and those of our
clients. Undoubtedly, Chief Deputy Kelly Elias is extremely well
qualified to be the next Logan County Circuit Clerk.

With Kelly’s years of experience and great skills
gained while working with Mary Kelley and many Judges of the
Eleventh Judicial Circuit, I anticipate the extremely high quality
of service this County now enjoys will continue uninterrupted when
Kelly Elias is elected Logan County’s next Circuit Clerk.
My wife, Laurie, and I heartily endorse and support Kelly Elias’
candidacy for Circuit Clerk of Logan County, Illinois.
