Charles Morris named March LTEC Student of the Month

 

[March 12, 2020]  LINCOLN - Charles Thomas Morris, son of Dwane & Tara Morris and Ashley & Russ Terry, was named March Student of the Month for the Automotive Technology program at the Lincolnland Technical Education Center. Thomas is a senior at Lincoln Community High School and a second year automotive technology student.

Mr. Jon Graber, instructor, selected Thomas for his outstanding leadership ability. Mr. Graber says Thomas will take the time to instruct & show the first year students how to do the easier jobs, and then Thomas will tackle the tougher jobs. Thomas is a hard worker and has the aptitude and ability to excel in the automotive field. He wants to learn every day and he picks up skills quickly in the hands on environment that we work in. He is a great young man that can be trusted.

Mr. Graber goes on to say that Thomas has made him want to be a better instructor. Thomas will be missed in the class but, he will be very successful in his future endeavor of being a diesel mechanic.

Thomas has participated in LCHS football & track. He plans to attend Wyo Tech for diesel mechanics and have a career in the diesel field.

Thomas received $50 from the Kiwanis Club of Lincoln who sponsored this award and honored him at a noon luncheon.
