To the editor: I am writing
this letter in support of Judge William G. Workman who I have known
for almost 23 years. I have not worked in his courtroom, nor have I
worked in his office, or even worked in the courthouse.
I am a lifelong resident of Logan County, a husband, a father, a
son, a brother and Judge Workman is my father-in-law.
Over the years our relationship has evolved, from the rambunctious
teenager dating his daughter to a proud father watching my
father-in-law as a tremendous role model to his grandchildren.
Judge Workman has overlooked my mistakes and
shortcomings. He has encouraged and supported me when I didn't even
realize I needed his subtle guidance. I have come to know him as a
fair minded, honest, forthright man, who has enormous compassion for
others and cares deeply about his community.

Raised by a single mother, my father-in-law understands what
hardship is. He learned the value of hard work and perseverance
early in life and believes in giving back.
Judge Workman has dedicated his career to duty and service. He has
served his country, his state, and his county. The current election
has provided me this opportunity to publicly state how much I
respect and admire Judge Workman for the person he is. If you know
him, you know this is who he has always been. I am proud to cast my
vote on March 17 for Judge William G. Workman, and I am grateful for
this opportunity to share my knowledge about him with others.
