Heather Jones displays her creation “Music is Art.” “I am really happy that I get to display my art in public,” she said at Thursday’s art show at the Lincoln Art Institute.

 

 


“Lavender Field” by Annalisa Alley. Annalisa is a sophomore at LCHS, and has been doing art for many years.

 

Devonte Brooks with his portrait of rapper XXXTentacion. ”When I finish a piece, it always feels like a great accomplishment, makes me feel good,” he said.
 


Abby Durkee enjoys working with ceramics more than any other art form. “My bowl took three weeks to complete,” she said.

 


A freshman at LCHS, Jenny Martens says art is fun for her. “Art is a large part of my life, and is an escape for me,” she said.
