On Thursday, large pink bows appeared on the
trees lining the main entrance driveway into Abraham Lincoln
Memorial Hospital in Lincoln. The bows and a large banner at the
front carport are to express love and appreciation for the ALMH
healthcare workers. |
Memorial Health Systems, which includes ALMH, has
initiated the Heart for Healthcare Workers project as a way to
recognize those who are doing frontline work in the battle to
contain COVID-19.
Memorial is making available large pink heart stickers to be given
out to the healthcare workers for their vehicles and is encouraging
the community to also show support for those healthcare
professionals.
The role of the doctors, nurses, CNA’s, technicians
and a laundry list of other professionals and staff working in the
background are the driving force behind diagnosing and treating
coronavirus. Those are the people who daily put themselves out there
for the good of others in spite of the danger to their own health. [to top of second

We do all thank them for their service along with
staff in all our other doctor’s offices and long-term care
facilities, and our first responders.
We do have heart for them and are pleased to see that what they are
doing does not go unnoticed by others.
Thank you to all the staff in all these frontline positions. You are
making a difference!
