When asked what it's like to share a birthday with
a sibling, older sister Chloe Stone smiled and said, "It's horrible.
I have to share everything with him." Chloe, who turned 14 years old
on April 19, 2020 also had to share the same birthday drive-by
parade with her younger brother Cail, who turned 12 years old on the
very same day. Cail's response to the question was, "It's fun
because we both get the glory."
Chloe and Cail's mom, Sarah Stone, said of the shared birthdays, "It
was great when they were little."
Sarah also shared a cute story. "They were born an hour-and-a half
apart on the same day, but two years apart. The hospital actually
tried to deliver Cail at the same time as Chloe, but the OR was full
so they couldn't get me in to deliver them at the same time. We told
them his sister was at home and it was her birthday, too. So the
hospital (St. John's) really tried."

The two are used to sharing the spotlight, since they've been at it
better than a decade. Both kids really did smile at one another
while greeting well-wishers from afar during a surprise Covid-19
birthday drive-by on Sunday, April 19, 2020 in Mount Pulaski. A
parade of party people drove through the main street of town, Vine
Street, honking and waving with music blaring. The loudest and most
decorated vehicle of all was that of Mount Pulaski Volleyball
Coaches Donna and Bethany Dulle, who chose the Kenny Rogers' hit
"The Gambler" and cleverly placed playing cards all over a Jeep
Wrangler. The elder Dulle, a big Kenny Rogers fan, even sang the
song word for word, obviously enjoying the moment as much as the
birthday kids.
So here are the details on those birthday babies:
Chloe was born at 11:59 a.m. on April 19, 2006.
Cail was born at 1:33 p.m. on April 19, 2008.
There is one thing these kids don't ever have to worry about - Mom
remembering one birthday and forgetting the other!
