Gusty winds and dense smoke made it all the more difficult for firefighters on Sunday morning as they battled this blaze in the 700 block of Madison Street.  Fire units from the city of Lincoln, Atlanta and Mount Pulaski were called in to drench the blaze. While LDN could not get close enough to see all the details, it appeared that the departments were able to prevent the spread of fire to surrounding homes in the neighborhood.
