Lincoln College Career Services is still working,
connecting, and supporting individuals in their pursuit of
employment. “During the current pandemic, many hard-working
individuals have been displaced as a result of furloughs, reduced
hours, or position elimination. It is our desire to continue to
assist professionals and students in building their careers,” said
Richard Johnson, Director of Career Services at Lincoln College.
The Career Services department offers a myriad of opportunities
including improving interviewing skills, resume and cover letter
support, Linked-In profile building, and networking assistance to
job-seekers. “We are providing all necessary resources to assist
with the career exploration process,” added Johnson.
Most recently, Career Services is developing the
first Future Think Career Lab, pioneering the career service field
to adapt to the demand for automation, robotics, artificial
intelligence, and other new technologies. The focus is to inspire
students to create jobs, rather than seek them.

The career-focused collaborative learning lab will include
state-of-the-art equipment including 3D printers, virtual reality gaming
systems, and drones. Students will engage in experiential processes that enhance
their creative intelligence. Developing relationships with innovation centers
across the country, Lincoln College’s Future Think Career Lab hopes to maximize
student exposure to career opportunities through interviews with technologically
advanced companies.
