[May 29, 2020]
Logan County 4-H members recently competed in an online Regional
Horse Hippology Contest and qualified to advance to the State
Hippology Contest. Due to COVID 19 social distancing restrictions
these contests are taking place ‘virtually’ in 2020.
For Hippology, participants took a 50 question multiple choice exam
covering a wide range of equine information and viewed 10 horse
stations where youth are required to answer 10 questions at each
station testing their knowledge of horse health, breed
characteristics, management, and feeding.

be held at a later date.
