For Hippology, participants took a 50 question
multiple choice exam covering a wide range of equine information and
viewed 10 horse stations where youth are required to answer 10
questions at each station testing their knowledge of horse health,
breed characteristics, management, and feeding.
Logan 4-H participants included Ruthie Ruhl, member
of the Topper 4-H Club, in the Senior division and Kristy Morrow,
member of the Cloverdale 4-H Club, in the Intermediate division.
Both will be advancing to the State Hippology Contest to be held at
a later date.
