Critical Need for Blood Donor Ambassadors and Blood Transportation Specialists

[November 02, 2020]  You are invited to a virtual open house to learn about a variety of Red Cross volunteer positions on Thursday, November 5 from 6:30 p.m.- 7:00 p.m. or Thursday, November 12 from 3:30 p.m.- 4:00 p.m.

Attend one of the events to learn more about Red Cross volunteer opportunities including:

Blood Donor Ambassador - These volunteers welcome blood donors when they arrive at local blood drivers, take temperatures and ensure visitors comply with social distancing and wear masks, assist donors with checking in and make the experience as comfortable and pleasant as possible. If you are friendly, have a knack for good customer service, and are passionate about health and safety, we can help you become a terrific Blood Donor A picture containing person, building, indoor, person

Blood Transportation Specialist- Volunteers who deliver life-saving blood products from Red Cross distribution facilities to hospitals, using a Red Cross-owned vehicle.

These roles are an important part of the Red Cross mission delivery and provide a meaningful volunteer experience. Please join us for an informative and fun 30-minute conversation about the Red Cross Blood Volunteer Team and learn about opportunities in your area.
