Obituary
Doris L. Langenbahn, 95, of Lincoln
passed away on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at the
Christian Village in Lincoln.
Doris was born on July 16, 1925 in Mount Pulaski,
the daughter of Wilbert and Martha (Wolf) Yagow. She
married Al Langenbahn on November 9, 1946 in Mount
Pulaski. He preceded her in death on August 5, 2012.
Doris is survived by one daughter: Leanna (Daniel)
Lohrenz of Queen Creek, AZ; one son: Jon (Judy)
Langenbahn of Lincoln; three grandchildren: Kristin
(Michael) Leathers, Nicholas Lohrenz, Shanna (Glenn)
Gorham all of AZ; four great grandchildren: Abigayl,
Logan, Colton, and Lily and several nieces and
nephews.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents; her
husband; her brothers, Richard and Vernon; and her
sister, Berniece.
Doris was a bookkeeper and secretary for Lincoln
Developmental Center and served as a Clerk in the
County Treasurer’s Office. |
Doris was a member of Immanuel
Lutheran Church in Lincoln for many years.
A service for Doris will be held at
11:00am on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln,
visitation will be held one hour prior to the
service (10:00-11:00am) also at the funeral home.
Where face masks and social distancing will be
enacted.
A private family graveside service will be held on a
later date at Camp Butler National Cemetery in
Springfield.
Memorial donations may be made in Doris’ name to
Immanuel Lutheran Church.
