Atlanta Ag 4-H hosts November
meeting in virtual format

The monthly meeting of the Atlanta Ag 4-H club met on November 15th,
2020, via Zoom due to covid meeting restrictions. Jon Catterson
reported on officer enrollment and that all officers would receive a
journal and pen.
Casey Glandon and Jessica Wibben, the celebration committee,
reported that they were working on the holiday party. Covid
restrictions were presenting challenges.
New business discussed was the Gingerbread Decorating Competition
and to decide if the club would enter together at a club or
individually as families. A motion was made to enter as a club and
the motion was seconded. A vote was taken and results were 6 to 2 in
favor of entering as a club.
The next motion was regarding participation in the Christmas Cruise
Parade. A vote was taken and the club voted to participate. The
motion was seconded and carried.
The Cloverbuds went into a breakout room via Zoom.
Rose Catterson did a spiced tea demonstration. Klaytyn Snow held a
chicken demonstration that included facts about chickens and also
showed the club a Red Rhode Island chick and a Stone chick.

Discussion was held regarding the Spirit Stick. Due to covid restrictions it was
decided that the leaders would pick up the Spirit Stick when dropping off the
journals and pens, and then pass it on to the next winner.
A discussion question was given to the members asking what they want for
Christmas.
For recreation the club members played Simon Says. The song sang was
“Albuquerque Turkey.”
The club officers chose Klaytyn Snow as the recipient of the Spirit Stick for
this month’s meeting.
The meeting adjourned at 4:38pm.
The next meeting will be held on December 20th, 2020 at 3:00pm.
