Illinois' largest pumpkin to be at Gail's Pumpkin Patch this Sunday

The 2020 Illinois Giant Pumpkin winner will be on display at Gail’s Pumpkin Patch, Beason, on Sunday, October 11, 2020 from noon to 4 p.m.

Henry Bartimus Baitman of Clinton will have his 1,673 lb pumpkin on a trailer for viewing and photos. It is the 5th biggest pumpkin ever grown in Illinois.

Atlantic Giant is the pumpkin variety and it grew for 105 days. It can gain over 40 pounds in a day! It needed 100 gallons of water each day and covered a garden of 27 x27.
