Burdge "Skip" Scudder, 77, of Lincoln, passed away September 23, 2020 at Memorial Medical Center, Springfield.

Cremation rites have been accorded by Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home. There will be no services at this time.

Skip was born Novenber 27, 1942 in Long Island, NY., the son of Burdge Scudder Sr. and Elizabeth (Beiel) Scudder. He married Sandra Radmacher on September 16, 1989. Mr. Scudder was employed as a physical therapist at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital and traveled with his physical therapy job. He later worked for the State of Illinois, Secretary of State. He enjoyed crocheting, writing and belonged to several writer's groups, and enjoyed playing world of war craft games.

 

Survivors include his wife Sandra Scudder, chidren: Christine Marquette, James Scudder, Joyce Deboers, Theresa Ford, Vera Havens, and Donna Dull; step son Derek Radmacher; numerous grandchildren; siblings: Penny Hunt, Richard Scudder, Keith Scudder, Franny Schmidt, Theodore Makowski, and Katie McWayne.
He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
