[October 12, 2020]    Taylor Hall signed a one-year, $8 million deal with the Buffalo Sabres, the team announced on Sunday night.

The 28-year-old Hall has 10 consecutive seasons with double-digit goals for the Edmonton Oilers, New Jersey Devils and Arizona Coyotes. He tallied 52 points (16 goals, 36 assists) in 65 games last season with New Jersey and Arizona.

Hall, a left wing, has scored 218 career goals since the Oilers made him the No. 1 overall pick in 2010. He gives Buffalo another top scoring option as the franchise looks to snap a nine-year postseason drought.

In 2018, Hall won the Hart Trophy after leading the Devils to the playoffs with 93 points (39 goals, 54 assists). He is a three-time All-Star.
