Health Alliance extends premium grace
period for Small Group fully insured plans

Effective
immediately, Health Alliance and Health Alliance Northwest will
temporarily extend the premium grace period from 30 days to 60 days
for all fully insured Small Group Employers, as defined by the
Department of Insurance.

This is in effect for all markets served, and is
for the Small Group Employers who have premiums due between March 1
and April 1, 2020.
“As the public health response to COVID-19 continues to evolve,
Health Alliance strives to meet the needs of our members,” said
Dennis Hesch, CEO of Health Alliance Medical Plans. “This includes
temporarily changing our policies, procedures and practices during
this time of need.”
