Logan County Drug Court is an intense program of probation,
accountability, and reform. Although difficult, the program can
provide the necessary support for life-changing sobriety. On
September 2, 2020, the Logan County Drug Court celebrated another
graduate.
|
Jesse entered the program battling an addiction and the criminal
consequences that often are associated with it. But now, Jesse proudly
acknowledges 15 months of sobriety, new employment, and a strong bond
with his family, and a strong recovery support system. Goals that used
to seem unattainable are now a reality for him.
“This graduation recognizes not only all of Jesse’s hard work that he
has put into the program but the sobriety and success he maintains for
himself and his family,” stated Circuit Judge Jonathan Wright.

The Logan County Drug Court program started in 2010 and is based on
state statute requiring this intensive program. It includes 5 phases
of supervision, drug testing, accountability and treatment. For
graduation, a participant must not only successfully complete the
rigors of the program but also submit an after care plan for
maintaining sobriety upon completion of the program.
