Virtual Ceremony to Honor Heroes

On Friday, September 11, Lincoln College’s Criminal Justice students
and Professor Dr. Saint Rice will commemorate the anniversary of the
9/11 attacks with a virtual remembrance ceremony.
On September 11, 2001, 2,977 people perished in the terrorist
attacks on America, including almost 500 first responders.
The event is open to the public and will be hosted on the Lincoln
College Facebook page:

The event is scheduled to begin at 8:20 a.m. Friday, September 11,
ending with a moment of silence for individuals lost in the tragic
events.

Dr. Saint Rice’s Law Enforcement II class planned and implemented the virtual
event as part of the class curriculum on Police Administration and Community
Policing.
“The event is our way to remember the lives lost during this tragic period on
U.S. soil as well as recognize the heroic and selfless efforts of first
responders” said Dr. Saint Rice.
