As economy looks to re-open, region-wide business recovery program launches to connect businesses with local recovery experts

[September 14, 2020]   This week marks the launch of the Business Recovery Program, a unique collaboration between the Greater Peoria Economic Development Council, Tada Cognitive Solutions, regional Chambers of Commerce, and regional economic development professionals to create a coordinated case management system to support local businesses meet their most pressing needs as they begin to reopen.

Whether it’s payroll stabilization, questions around public health regulations, business development, workforce needs, or other technical assistance, the Business Recovery Program provides a single entrance point for businesses to share their most critical needs and get connected with a local recovery specialist to find solutions.

"For most businesses, getting to reopen signals the beginning of their efforts to recover and return to better than before the pandemic. The Business Recovery Program was built for businesses that have struggled to find help, as well as businesses beginning to reopen, as there will be new challenges to address in the coming months” said Chris Setti, CEO of the Greater Peoria Economic Development Council. “We also know time is of the essence, so we’ve been privileged with the support of Tada Cognitive Solutions to help us create a more coordinated, streamlined, and efficient system to help businesses meet their most pressing needs.”
