As part of the plan to reopen our great state,
Governor Pritzker has announced that Phase 3 of their process will
			begin on Friday, May 29th.

During this phase, restaurants and bars will be
allowed to provide food and beverage with outside dining. The City
is very excited to see that our businesses have been given this
opportunity and would like to support them as much as we can. With
that being said, the City will
close a portion of our downtown square this Friday and Saturday
night to give our community the chance to reconnect in a safe and
respectful manner. Our ultimate goal is to give everyone the
opportunity to support our businesses in an open space and at a safe
			distance.

We will be closing Cooke St. between Lafayette and Washington from 5
			p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday May 29th and from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. on
			Saturday May
			30th.

Pizza Man, The Lucky Lager, and The Old Brickyard
will be open and ready to serve as their current company policy
allows. Alcoholic beverages must be both purchased within and kept
within the Cooke St. barricades. As I hope you can attend in a safe
manner, I also understand if you wish to remain at home at this
			time.

We ask that everyone continue to follow the common
guidelines recommended by the CDC. Please keep a safe and
responsible distance from those that are not members of the same
household. If you are feeling ill or are at a higher risk than
others, we kindly ask that you
			remain at home.
I have good faith that our residents will be
respectful to each other as we hold this event. I also believe that,
as always, our community will show their support to our businesses.

If you have any questions, please, do not hesitate to call me at any
			time for any reason.

			Regards and best wishes,
