Lincoln Rotary now taking orders for Sweetest Day roses

[September 23, 2020]    Sweetest Day this year, a day to celebrate the sweetest people in your life, is October 17. To celebrate, order roses for $20 per dozen from members of the Lincoln Rotary Club now until September 30.

Roses will be available for pick up on October 16 at Jefferson Street Christian Church between 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. You may contact Steve Shoemaker [phone] or Don Peasley [phone] with any questions.

This annual fundraiser will help the Lincoln Rotary continue to provide college scholarships and other community support.

The first Sweetest Day was held in Ohio in 1921 and has continued throughout the Midwest on the third Saturday of October.
