The Illinois Department of
Public Health is reporting a total of 115,833 cases of COVID-19
statewide and 5,186 deaths and the Logan County Department of Public
Health (LCDPH) is urging the community to continue to play it safe
during this time of pandemic.

To date, Logan County has experienced 10 cases of
COVID-19 and much of the successful outcomes are a credit to the
community as people have shared the role of emergency responders by
wearing masks in public, avoiding gatherings and maintaining social
distancing. LCDPH applauds these efforts but also urges taking
continued precautions as the threat still lingers.
As Illinois begins phase three of the Restore Illinois plan,
citizens will be asked to keep gatherings to 10 people or less and
to wear a mask in public. Businesses will have a greater opportunity
to provide services to the community as activities are gradually
allowed to expand. For business guidelines on how to return to work
safely under phase three, you can visit
